About KTV Malaysia

KTV Malaysia is an independent guide to karaoke in Malaysia. It covers 37 venues across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor and Sabah, from mall-based family karaoke chains to late-night KTV lounges, and explains how each one prices its rooms, when it opens and how to get there.

What we cover

For each venue we publish the address, opening hours, venue type, price level and pricing model, promotions, room and sound notes, food and drinks, who the venue suits, and directions. Area and state pages group venues by neighbourhood, and our guides explain KTV pricing, etiquette and planning.

How we research

Listings are compiled from venues' own websites and social media, map listings, booking platforms, promotional material provided by venues, and published reviews. Each page shows the date its information was last checked and lists its sources. Ratings are only published after an in-person visit.

Independence

Venues cannot pay to be listed, ranked or reviewed more favourably. Venues are ordered by area, not by payment. If we ever publish sponsored content it will be clearly labelled. See the editorial policy.
