Loud Speaker Karaoke 大嘴巴: Malaysia outlets, prices and what to expect

Loud Speaker Karaoke is a family karaoke chain founded in 2009 with around 15 outlets in Malaysia. This guide covers its outlets in KL & Selangor, selangor, Penang and Johor.

Loud Speaker (大嘴叭) is a family karaoke chain that opened its first outlet in Taman Sutera Utama, Johor Bahru, in August 2009. The official site lists 15 outlets as of October 2026, spread across the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang. Pricing is a per-head charge for a 2-hour or 3-hour session that includes self-service free-flow selected drinks and ice cream, with lower rates for members, students, seniors and early sessions. Ottotree Entertainment, the operator, was bought outright in February 2026 by a subsidiary of Japan's GENDA group.

Loud Speaker Karaoke prices

Per-head charge, minimum 2 persons per room, for a 2-hour or 3-hour session; all prices are before 10% service charge and 8% SST (the chart footer says '++'). Standard outlet chart (2026 price chart uploaded April 2026, checked October 2026), member / non-member: Early-K (check-in 11am-1pm, last singing 3pm) Mon-Thu RM6/RM8 for 2 hours and RM8/RM10 for 3 hours; Fri-Sun, PH eve and PH RM10/RM12 (2h) and RM12/RM15 (3h). Before 5pm (check-in 1pm-5pm, last singing 7pm) Mon-Thu RM10/RM14 (2h), RM13/RM18 (3h); weekend RM12/RM18 (2h), RM15/RM24 (3h). After 5pm (last singing 3am) Mon-Thu RM14/RM20 (2h), RM18/RM26 (3h); weekend RM15/RM23 (2h), RM20/RM30 (3h). After 12am (Mon-Thu only) RM10/RM12 (2h), RM12/RM15 (3h). VVIP rooms are sold on minimum spend: RM800 (Mon-Thu) / RM1,000 (Fri-Sun, PH) before 5pm, RM1,000 / RM1,500 after 5pm. Beer packages (12 bottles added to head charge) run RM198-RM298 and liquor packages (1 bottle) RM358-RM538 depending on day, time and membership.   • 2-hour or 3-hour singing session (as purchased)

Prices change by outlet and season and exclude service charge and SST unless stated. Check the official price list before you go.

Promotions and discounts

  • Student promotion. Mon-Thu, check-in before 5pm, session must end by 7pm: RM12++ (2 hours) or RM15++ (3 hours). Students 18 and above must show a valid student card; under-18s may use another verification document. Not valid on public holidays, eves or event days.
  • Senior citizen promotion. Age 60 and above with valid IC, all week: Mon-Thu RM12++/RM15++ (2h/3h) before 5pm and RM15++/RM20++ after 5pm; Fri-Sun RM15++/RM20++ before 5pm and RM20++/RM25++ after 5pm.
  • Member's Day. Every Monday, all day, for active Jom K Kakee members: RM8++ (2 hours) or RM10++ (3 hours).
  • Jom K Kakee membership. Paid membership giving lower head charges (the 'JOMK' column on the rate chart) and birthday benefits. Existing memberships were moved to the Chop\Sticks app; the FAQ says current benefits run until 27 June 2026 and new plans would follow. Membership fee not published on the site.
  • Bring Your Own Food (#BYOF). Outside food allowed at Loud Speaker 1.0 outlets except Kepong'Gi Square and Loud Speaker 2.0. No pork or lard-based food, no pungent food such as durian, and no outside beer; liquor and wine may be brought in with a corkage fee. Not valid on public holidays, eves or event days.

How to book

Online booking through the Chop\Sticks app (iOS and Android, Malaysia and Singapore), which replaced the Loud Speaker app after 23 May 2026; reservations are also linked from each outlet page. Central contact number 03-5870 5800 is listed for every outlet; email [email protected]. Reservations are held for 10 minutes only.

  • Minimum 2 persons per room; room allocation follows group size and cannot be changed except for technical issues
  • Children below 7 enter free; those below 7 but 120 cm or taller must show ID; age 7 and above pay
  • Alcohol is not sold to anyone under 21
  • No outside beer; liquor and wine allowed with corkage fee
  • No pork, lard-based or pungent food (e.g. durian) under the BYOF policy
  • Microphones per room are fixed; no extra microphones
  • Reservations held 10 minutes; party size fixed once confirmed
  • Before-5pm rates used after 4pm must end by 7pm
  • Promotions do not apply on public holidays, PH eves, replacement holidays or event days

How much does Loud Speaker karaoke cost?

At standard outlets, non-members pay from RM8++ per person for a 2-hour Early-K session on weekdays up to RM30++ for a 3-hour weekend evening session, before 10% service charge and 8% SST (2026 rate chart). Some outlets have their own charts.

What is included in the Loud Speaker head charge?

The session time you pay for (2 or 3 hours) plus self-service free-flow selected drinks and ice cream, subject to availability.

Do children pay at Loud Speaker?

Children below 7 enter free. A child under 7 who is 120 cm or taller must show an identification document; from age 7 the normal charge applies.

Can I bring my own food to Loud Speaker?
